Introduction


ServiceNow has integrated IndoorAtlas indoor positioning as part of the Now Mobile solution, for helping users to find their way indoors within office campuses and other buildings.  This Workplace Service Delivery for Mobile guide describes the integration of Wayfinding services and IndoorAtlas indoor positioning in ServiceNow.

IndoorAtlas can provide you both cross-platform positioning for iOS and Android devices. 


  • If Apple indoor positioning is deployed to your premises, you'd use Apple as a location provider for iOS devices. In this case, you'd use IndoorAtlas for Android devices.


  • If Apple indoor positioning is not deployed to your premises, you'd use IndoorAtlas as the location provider for both iOS and Android users.

  • Contact support@indooratlas.com to talk to an IndoorAtlas expert and learn how IndoorAtlas is deployed. We highly recommend starting the process from this step. 
  • Optional quick demo / trial
  • Project scoping
  • Deployment of IndoorAtlas to your premises
  • Validate solution using Now Mobile app



Integration Guide



Configuration in IndoorAtlas


  • Prerequisite: IndoorAtlas has been deployed to your premises. This process can be handled by your organization with support from IndoorAtlas, by IndoorAtlas, or by an IndoorAtlas partner.  See guide.
  • Create IndoorAtlas API key. See guide.


IndoorAtlas API key connects the Now Mobile app to your IndoorAtlas account, which contains your buildings' metadata and signal maps used for indoor positioning.

  • Configure IndoorAtlas as a Location provider
