System Notification for App

It notifies the App user that the App is currently running in either foreground or background mode. The App user’s location and Bluetooth will be accessed by the App if their permissions are turned on. The notification bar will disappear if the App user completely closes/force close the App.

For Android, the notification bar will be appear within the notification centre @image 1

For iOS , a blue notification bar will be appear on the top of the home screen @image 2 and image 3

For Android device users, you can hide the notification bar by performing either one of the following actions :

  • Option A :
    • Tap on the device settings icon on the device home screen;
    • Select Applications and press the GroundSage App icon;
    • Select Notifications;
    • Manually turn off Show notifications. 
  • Option B :
    • Swipe the notification bar to the right
    • Tap on the Settings icon and the user will be redirected to the device settings page;
    • Manually turn off notifications (It only available on some AOS devices).


Hiding the notification bar will not stop the App from accessing the App user’s location and Bluetooth features. If the user wishes to stop the App from accessing the above features on the device, turn off the above permissions from the device settings.
